Who is responsible
Optero Sàrl, Vaud, Switzerland, represented by Philippe Schmid. Contact: info@optero.ch, +41 76 313 27 77.
Optero Sàrl is the controller for the personal data described below.
The short version
This website has no contact form, sets no cookies, and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind. I do not sell your data. The only personal data I receive is what you choose to send me, by booking a call, writing an email, or calling.
When you visit this website
My hosting provider, Infomaniak (Switzerland), automatically records standard server log data: your IP address, the date and time, the pages requested, and your browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. Infomaniak processes this on my behalf, and stores it for a limited period.
If you book a call
The "Book a call" button is a link to Cal.com, an external scheduling service. Nothing is sent to them unless you click it. If you book, you provide your name, email address, company and a short description of your situation. Cal.com processes that booking and passes it to me, and it is also written into my calendar. I use it only to prepare and hold the call. Cal.com's own privacy terms apply to their processing.
If you email or call me
I process what you send me in order to answer you, and to discuss a possible mandate.
Why I am allowed to do this
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and the GDPR where it applies: my legitimate interest in operating a secure website and responding to enquiries, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who else sees it
Only the providers acting on my behalf: Infomaniak (hosting and email, Switzerland) and Cal.com (scheduling). I do not sell or share your data for advertising, and there is no advertising or profiling on this site.
How long it is kept
I keep enquiries and booking data for up to 12 months after our last contact. If a mandate follows, the related records are kept for 10 years, as Swiss law requires for business records. Server logs are deleted by my host after a short retention period.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to my processing it. Write to info@optero.ch and I will answer.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or with your local supervisory authority in the EU.
Changes
If this notice changes, the current version will always be on this page.
